“Having all our kids and grandkids in one house are the moments we live for,” says Lorraine. Those times were exactly what she and Bob envisioned when they first settled in Kingwood more than 25 years ago. After finding their way home to this wonderful community, the Kelly's discovered what a great place it was to raise their three children. Since then, the road to where they are today has been paved with those memories. And having four generations of their close-knit family all around them, makes it even more special.

The Road Home
Both originally from the East Coast, (Bob is a New Jersey native while Lorraine was born in New York) the Kelly's lived in various places because of Bob’s military career before settling down for a while in Houston. They were uprooted again to the Ohio/West Virginia area during Bob’s financial career with Shell Chemical before transferring back to the Houston area.

There was no question where they would live. The first time around while living in Houston, Bob and Lorraine had heard about a growing community with lush wooded scenery and a warm family environment. From the beginning, Kingwood has not only been where their hearts were, it is the place they have always been proud to call their home.
